The floods of Noah

You have already seen how God who wanted to create Man, a perfect one, in his own likeness as Man and Woman was compelled to separate Man and woman and to make them procreate so as to see if the children would be perfect. But Cain killed Abel and proved to be more imperfect. Now God decided to make them bear more children and them their offsprings and this had to continue till He could find people perfect enough to be given Everlasting life.

Cain had to find a wife; so were the other Children of Man starting from Seth. So God had to create a parallel set of people and they are called the children of God. (Genesis 4:16-24).

The children of man found their spouses among the children of God. It worked for some time then the inverse started happening. The Sons of God found the Daughters of man fair and began to marry them. The purpose of the Children of God was to support the Children of man multiply and now the Children of God were multiplying. The Sons of God were in Sin and they were a bad influence on the Children of Man. This had to be stopped; for God wanted Children of man to be pure.

‘The wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repents me that I have made them.’

Then Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord and he had a change of mind. He decided to start afresh. The Children of God would be destroyed and man had to be made capable of procreating on his own.

Sweeping changes were to be made; there was no need to let man live for hundreds of years to see if he was perfect. The lifespan of Man had to be limited to one hundred and twenty years.

The question was how these changes could be incorporated in mankind. Was it possible to make the necessary changes in each and every member of mankind? Or was it better to bring down the population to a couple of pairs, incorporate the necessary changes and repopulate mankind from the modified ones.

The second option was worked out… And that’s Noah’s flood for you.

A lot of changes were incorporated in a couple of pairs of man, the rest were destroyed and the world was repopulated from the modified pairs.

God said in his heart, I will not curse the ground any more for man’s sake; for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more everything living, as I have done.

Man’s lifespan was limited to one hundred and twenty years, man and animals were blessed to multiply.

God blessed Noah and his sons and said to them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth. (This was the first time God blessed man to be fruitful after he separated man and woman. He had blessed them earlier when man and woman were one being ).God made a covenant that the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.

Man was made accountable for his actions. There were no more Children of God on earth.

Or in today’s terms a new Version of the Man was released after Noah’s flood.

That’s  the Real Reason’s for destroying mankind during Noah’s time.
