The creation of Mankind

Let’s start the Lessons from the Book of Genesis itself.

The first day of Genesis indicates the Creation of the Universe and later the focus narrows to our Earth. In the first day Light and Darkness were created and were called Day and Night respectively. This creation of light and darkness happened before the creation of the Sun and Moon in the fourth day. A Day which is twenty four hours long can happen only after the formation of the Sun, in other words a Day mentioned in the Genesis is not twenty four hour time but it’s a duration of time which we can’t comprehend.

Plants, trees and seeds came into being on the third day as there was already light. Then Sun and Moon came and then living beings in the water and later on living beings in the land and the Spirit of God blessed them to be Fruitful and Multiply. From here on we are told only about what is going in this Earth specifically. And we will be narrow-minded if we presume that the Spirit of God showed interest in this Earth alone as it is beyond our purview at this moment.

Now coming back once the flora and fauna were created God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and So God created man in his own image; male and female created he him. So the first man was created gender free and he was blessed to multiply.  Later on when God found that Adam, the first man was lonely He created Eve, a woman, and gave her to Adam as his wife. God, who is perfect, wanted his creations also to be perfect but found that his creations had shortcomings. Adam and Eve could be tempted to sin easily. Eating from the tree of knowledge, which was forbidden, was just an example. How could the imperfect creation be allowed to eat from the Tree of Life!! Won’t their imperfection last forever! There was no way to give them everlasting life.

So he decided to create more of mankind but this time he won’t be making them directly like the first man. The man and woman together will create their offspring like the flora and fauna. But this ability to bear children was not there in the initial plans as the first man was male and female combined.

That ability was to be added in both Adam and Eve. The ability to bear children was added in Eve first and the Spirit of God shadowed on her and she bore Cain and then Abel before Adam was made capable. So Cain and Abel are not children of Adam but they are the Children of God. Adam is their father just like Joseph is the father of Jesus and we know Jesus is actually the Son of God.

That’s why Eve says ‘I have gotten a man from the Lord’ in Genesis Chapter 4: 1 after stating that Adam knew his wife Eve. (If the Spirit had edited this statement (of Eve) when he narrated the Story of Creation to Moses I wouldn’t have been explaining this to you. And there are certain books in which that statement has been changed to ‘I have gotten a man with the Lord’s help’ which suits their belief. This is incorrect and happened because they couldn’t believe Jesus’ promise that the Spirit of Truth would be sent to guide you to the truth. How shameful of them to distrust Jesus!!)

Later on Adam also was made capable of bearing children and Adam’s lineage started from Seth onwards. Genesis  5:1-3 says ‘ This is the book of generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him; Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created. And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth.

You can see that the names of Cain and Abel are missing in the book of generations of Adam. Otherwise it shouldn’t have been specifically mentioned it as the book of generations of Adam.

The next question is whether mankind was created from one group i.e., the lineage of Adam alone. Is it possible to God to create such a beautiful and diverse mankind, with every man unique in terms of looks, fingerprints, retina, genes, behavior etc. from a single group?

The answer is No.

There has to be two groups and there has to be interaction between these two groups. Along with the Children of Adam God created another group, Children of God which included sons and daughters of God, and only when these two groups mingled could mankind move forward.

Kindly read the Book of Genesis again, this time actively, with this knowledge in mind and then you will realize the truth.

When you say Jesus is the only begotten Son of God you are contradicting this part of the creation when a group itself called the children of God was here. This group disappeared during the Floods of Noah.
